Dear Colleagues,
The labour unrest during 2010 caused havoc in our health
system. SASOG
recognises workers right to strike but implores that the
healthcare of our
citizens are not compromised and the lives and safety of health
workers be
in danger.
SASOG applauds the example and leadership of the Minister Of
Health Dr Aaron
Motsoaledi and thanks all those health workers,members of the
Defence
Force,volunteers and all who provided care during the unrest.
The SASOG Congress at Sun City was a great success.
Congratulations to all
involved in the organisation of the Congress including the
fifteen
registrars who received financial assistance from SASOG\RCOG and
presented
papers or posters of a very high level.
The next SASOG Congress will be in 2012. Information
with regards to
submitting papers and posters and financial grants will be
posted on the
website shortly.
